Ingredients
1 cup raw jackfruit pods chopped
1/4 cup jackfruit seeds chopped into small pieces
3-4 green chilies,
4-5 black pepper
1cup freshly grated coconut
1 tsp jaggery
Salt as per taste
1/4 tsp mustard seeds
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
Pinch of Hing
1tsp oil.
Method
Firstly in mixie jar add chili & black pepper. Grind.
Add freshly grated coconut. Grind coarsely.
Heat oil in kadai.add mustard seeds. when mustard seeds start cracking add a pinch of Hing.
Add jackfruit seeds pieces and cook until they soften by adding little water.
Once seeds cooked add turmeric powder, jaggery, salt, jackfruit pods pieces and the ground mixture of coconut.
Mix well all together. Cook for 5 mins.
Our jackfruit pods without onion-garlic bhaji are ready to serve.
