Apple Cinnamon Turkish Tea

Turkish tea, simple drink that is made from apple, cinnamon and star anise which is very good for your health and immune system.
Apple cinnamon tea is a natural beverage made from real apples, cinnamon and star anise.These fruits and spices are full of vitamins and nutrients, and they make for a delicious, healthy drink.This mixture is cooked for a few minutes until the ingredients are well blended.
Apple cinnamon tea is a nice and warm drink, so it is perfect in cold weather. It is also a natural source of heat in the body so it is recommended in winter. The tea is very healthy because it contains a lot of vitamins and antioxidants.
This is a simple drink you can make at home. Perfect drink for winter's. If you like the taste of apples and cinnamon, you will love this tea! 

INGREDIENTS :

Apple - 1
Cinnamon sticks - 2 approx 1 inch
Star anise - 1
Honey - 1tsp
Water - 2 cups

METHOD : 

Grate apple no need to peel the skin if using organic apple. Apply half lime juice to it.

Add two cups of water in a saucepan along with cinnamon and star anise. Bring it to boiling point on low medium flame.

once water boils add grated apple.

Bring it to boil reduce heat to low flame and simmer for minimum 10 minutes.
Turkish apple cinnamon tea is ready.
Strain the tea add Honey and serve hot.
stay healthy with this caffeine free tea.

TIP : 

1. Simmer on low flame so all the flavours added get infused.
2. This is caffeine free tea but if you want can try this recipe by adding tea leaves and do letme know how it tastes.
3. As apples are sweet this tea i prepared is sugar free just added honey for mild sweetness. Ifyou perfer more sweet can add sugar.
